Chair of Trustees (Volunteer)
Regenerate is looking for a strategic leader to Chair our board of Trustees, acting as an ambassador and the public face of the charity in partnership with the Chief Executive. As we reach our 25th year as a charity, this is an opportunity to support our growth, scale our activity and drive more impact in the local community.
The Chair will hold the Board and Executive Team to account for the Charity’s mission and vision, providing inclusive leadership to the Board of Trustees and ensuring that each trustee fulfils their duties and responsibilities for the effective governance of the charity.
It is critical that the Chair is passionate and committed to improving the life chances of young people through our programme. They will embody, and add value to, the mission and purpose of Regenerate.
Overview:
- Contract type: Volunteer
- Time commitment: Approximately half a day a month – 6 -7 days a year)
- Location: Remote/Ashburton youth club, Westleigh Avenue, SW15 6XD
- Remuneration: The role of Chair is not accompanied by any financial remuneration, although expenses for travel may be claimed
- A friendly and cohesive team environment
