We are so glad you’re interested in volunteering with us. This is a rewarding experience where you will enhance your own skills and hopefully have fun while also helping the lives of our local young people.
We need reliable, friendly and enthusiastic people to help us provide our services. Here are the ways you could get involved:
Our youth club takes place at the Ashburton Centre in Putney and is a safe, fun place for young people to hang out, discover their potential and make a difference.
The main responsibilities of a volunteer youth worker is to support the lead youth workers in running sessions, through building a good rapport with young people and helping to get them involved in activities.
The time commitment involved is one evening a week from 4:30-8pm for up to six months.
Our mentoring and coaching programme works with young people to enhance their confidence, make positive goals for the future, improve life skills and build positive habits.
The main responsibilities are to build rapport with your mentee and work with them creatively to help them do all of the above.
Please note that while we provide some training before pairing you with a mentee, mentoring volunteers need to have experience with similar work in order to ensure we are able to provide the best support we can!
