Hurlingham Children’s Charity 24/25!

We are really proud to announce that Regenerate were recently chosen by the students as a charitable partner of Hurlingham School.

This partnership will mean more support and awareness for our charity, and a new community to build initiatives and events with!

We were chosen after a successful assembly, pitching our service to the students and delivering a presentation about what we do, and where their money will go. We ended the assembly with a video of our summer programme highlights, and seeing the children’s faces light up watching the various adventures and trips we had been on was priceless. Thank you to all the students for your support and for voting us in as your chosen charity!

Through our partnership with Hurlingham, we have already completed two projects over the last few months:

With the help of Hurlingham, we were able to spread some festive cheer with the thanks of students and their parents, who collected Christmas hampers full of exciting treats as well as all of the ingredients to make a Christmas dinner. A couple of days before Christmas, alongside headteacher Mr Gould, we set out in our sleigh(minibus!) and were able to deliver 23 hampers to young people and their families who most needed them.

One young person sent us a lovely voice note on Christmas day:

“Thank you Regenerate and Hurlingham for the hamper, it’s extremely appreciated and I don’t know what I would have done for Christmas without it!”

Our second project with Hurlingham was a “Come Dine With Us” fundraising event planned by a group of Hurlingham parents living in Fulham.

The evening is a dinner party style event, where local hosts open up their homes and put on dinner parties for guests. The roving style of this – where guests move around to different houses for each course – makes it a lovely community building event, as well as a great excuse to spend an evening with friends.

We had a lovely evening with great food and perfect company, and want to extend a thank you to everyone who came as well as our hosts for creating an evening to remember. The impact of this means we were able to raise just over £1000, as well as spread awareness about our work, and get to know more of the Hurlingham community!

Thank you so much to Hurlingham for your support so far, this has been an amazing start to a great partnership. We are really looking forward to seeing what else we can do together, the opportunities we can create, and the lives we can change!
